New: Supporting Adults with ADHD
Practical support for routines, appointments, relationships and independence. Our new Level 2 course brings Pheon Academy to 270 courses and training programmes.
Supporting Adults with ADHD: Everyday Life and Independence is now available in Core Training.
Designed for care assistants and support workers, this course explores how to make everyday support useful without taking away adult choice. It covers routines, appointment planning, household responsibilities, money boundaries, relationships and responding to overwhelm.
Three narrated lessons include practical scenarios, knowledge checks and activities, followed by a final assessment. Successful learners receive a free digital certificate and transcript. The course holds Professional CPD Standards approval as a Level 2 Certificate.
Teaching draws on NICE and NHS guidance and explains when to seek clinical advice. It is everyday care support training, not a programme for diagnosing ADHD or changing treatment.
Managers can assign the course to individuals, selected staff or their whole team through Runway. It is also included in Lifetime Individual Membership, with no additional course fee. Our separate children and young people ADHD course remains available.
Pheon Academy now offers 270 courses and training programmes across adult social care and children and young people's services, including NHS learning and the Care Certificate.
