Relationships, belonging and purpose: new learning for children's care staff
Two new Level 3 courses and stronger practical emotional-regulation learning. Our Children & Young People collection now includes 69 courses.
Good support helps young people feel safe, connected and able to see a future that matters to them. In response to feedback from people working with young people, we have added two new courses and strengthened an existing one.
NEW: Developmental and Relational Trauma: Understanding Behaviour and Building Safety. Practical ways to understand responses in context, build predictable relationships, repair mistakes and support participation.
NEW: Belonging, Purpose and Aspirations. Help young people recognise strengths, explore interests and take achievable steps towards meaningful opportunities. Includes an attributed introduction to the four themes of Circle of Courage.
UPDATED: Helping Young People Regulate Their Emotions. Clearer stress-response teaching, practical co-regulation and grounding options, and an individual support-card activity. The existing course has been improved, not duplicated.
All three are Level 3 Certificates approved by Professional CPD Standards, with narrated lessons, practical scenarios, knowledge checks and a final assessment. Free digital certificates and transcripts are included.
Available in the Children & Young People collection for managers to assign to their teams, and through Lifetime Individual Membership. No additional course fee.
