Five new CPD-approved courses, ready for your team
From understanding the body to stronger care plans and safeguarding leadership: five practical courses are now available in Pheon Runway, included in existing training access.
Good training should help staff make better decisions on the next visit. Our latest additions focus on practical skills that managers can put to work straight away.
Anatomy and Physiology for Care Workers: understand how the body works, recognise changes and know when to report a concern.
COSHH in Care: turn labels and safety information into safer decisions about the substances staff use every day.
Practical Risk Assessment: identify what could go wrong, choose workable controls and respond when circumstances change.
Understanding and Using Care Plans: translate the plan into person-centred support, recognise when it no longer fits and record what needs to change.
Safeguarding Children: Designated Safeguarding Lead: a programme for designated leads, deputies and managers in care services in England, covering referrals, information sharing, concerns about staff and following up safeguarding action.
The four care-worker courses are Professional CPD Standards Level 2 Certificates. The safeguarding lead programme is a Professional CPD Standards Level 3 Certificate.
Every course includes narrated lessons, practical scenarios, knowledge checks and a final assessment, with a free digital completion certificate and transcript. Managers can assign the courses to selected staff or their whole team in Runway.
The COSHH, risk assessment and care-planning courses build on our existing training with more applied practice, rather than repeating the basics. All five are included in existing provider subscriptions and Lifetime Individual Membership.
Managers will find the four Level 2 courses under Core Training and the safeguarding lead programme under Role Development.
