60 courses for staff working with children and young people
New: Understanding Ofsted. Practical learning about your responsibilities, inspection and the route into registered management.
Our Children & Young People collection now has 60 courses. The latest addition is Understanding Ofsted: Your Role and Your Career in Children's Services.
Built for care and support staff, it explains how registration relates to everyday work, what inspectors look for, and how staff can contribute with confidence. It also sets out the different qualification and experience routes for children's homes and supported accommodation in England.
Four narrated lessons, practical scenarios, knowledge checks and a final assessment lead to a Professional CPD Standards Level 2 Certificate. Successful learners receive free digital certificates and transcripts, with records available to their manager.
Managers can assign the course to individual staff or their whole active team. It is included in provider plans and Lifetime Individual Membership, with no additional course fee.
