What you will achieve
- Apply a child-centred response that connects relationships, rights and safeguarding.
- Explain the limits of authority and the responsibilities in a placement plan.
- Recognise patterns of exploitation and escalate without criminalising the child.
- Support regulation, participation and repair while maintaining safe professional boundaries.
Assessment
Complete each module's learning and assessment, work through the integrated cases, then pass the final diploma assessment at 80%. Relevant completed Academy learning counts towards the programme. Retakes are included.
Accreditation and certification
These are continuing professional development (CPD) diplomas. Levels describe learning under the Professional CPD Standards framework, not the Regulated Qualifications Framework. They are not Ofqual-regulated qualifications and do not replace required occupational qualifications or workplace assessment.

Will this qualify me for a regulated role?
