Allow approximately 25 hours of active learning: twelve 90-minute units (teaching and worked-example analysis, directed source comparison and a written practical activity), six hours to plan, write and revise the applied project, and one hour for examination and review. This is an estimate of study and applied work, not 25 hours of video or audio; individual study time varies.
Assessment
Complete twelve narrated units, directed study and saved workbook activities. Pass a 40-question examination selected from a 48-question bank at 80%, plus a separately assessed 1,500–2,500-word applied assignment. Both must pass before a diploma is issued. Examination retakes and assignment revisions are included. Assignment marking is not instant; you can check its status in your learning area.
Accreditation and certification
These are continuing professional development (CPD) diplomas. Levels describe learning under the Professional CPD Standards framework, not the Regulated Qualifications Framework. They are not Ofqual-regulated qualifications and do not replace required occupational qualifications or workplace assessment.
The digital diploma is included. Printed copies are optional and charged separately at the price displayed when ordering.
Will this qualify me for a regulated role?
No. This CPD programme develops knowledge and application; it does not replace a regulated Diploma in Care, Residential Childcare qualification, professional registration or required workplace competency assessment.
